No sound through headphones in Google Chrome

Yesterday my headphones stopped playing in the middle of a Youtube clip, worse still in the middle of a good rousing song. The problem had to be my faithful Trust wireless headphones and i cursed the technology gods for now i would have to return to wired. Light painting – first attempt

The concept seems fairly simple. It has to be dark, you need a tripod, you set a long exposure on the camera (20 seconds or more) and then run around drawing shapes in the air with colored lights. Ah the dreams of the newbie photographer.

Night photography

With Autumn upon us it makes for perfect night time shooting. The hazyness has gone and the sky is clear. So i popped down to Southbank and waited for the sun to go down.
One pizza and to much fruit juice later the sun was gone and the light or lack there of was perfect. The tide was in but a nice set of stone stairs got us down to just above water level with a great view of the Thames and St Paul’s in the background. Continue reading
